Job Description

The Product Manager - Regulatory Strategist will be responsible for managing / oversight  of our solutions to ensure healthcare reform, compliance and outcomes are seamlessly integrated in order to improve decision-making, enhance performance, and target areas of improvement.  In addition you will have the ability to entrench in some of our certifications such as  Meaningful Use; State specific certifications such as New York State Clinical Report Initiative; and other certifications as required within our industry.  The Product Manager - Regulatory Strategist will be knowledgeable within the certifications and work with other associates and clients to apply the criteria to real-life situations.  The Product Manager - Regulatory Strategist will assist with management of all aspects of the life cycle including market research, product requirements, launch coordination and creation of sales tools, and the tracking of all requirements related to the certification. 

The Product Manager - Regulatory Strategist must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, the drive to make that vision a reality and the ability to execute at the tactical level.  They must enjoy spending time in the market to understand industry problems, participate in conferences and gain recognition as an industry leader and find innovative solutions for the broader market.


  • A strong knowledge of Electronic Health Records within the primary/physical or behavioral health care environment. 
  • Demonstrates strong leadership with the ability to influence and motivate cross functional teams to gain their cooperation and engagement for overall product strategy and execution. 
  • Verified strategic agility with the capacity to understand complex business problems, market trends, and technology challenges and synthesize them into a clear concise business plan and product roadmap. 
  • Possesses strong negotiation skill with capability to develop win/win solutions (for the market, customers, and internal organizations), while driving the product direction and garnering cross functional support. 
  • Demonstrated aptitude to drive results and change across the organization. 
  • Customer focused and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers while balancing the priorities of the company and the product. 
  • Goal oriented and makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment. 
  • Comfortable with all levels of management and able to communicate (both orally and written) a vision and present effectively to customers, the market, and executives. 
  • Analytical problem solver; able to understand interdependencies of business functions and impacts of decisions; and set priorities based on what is important. 
  • Strong executive presence; provides thought leadership for the company and the product line. 



  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems or Project Management. MBA preferred.
  • An understanding of Meaningful Use and a willingness to become an expert in regulations and practical application of MU is strongly preferred.
  • Requires familiarity with application development support software and hardware platforms.
  • Familiarity with HIT standards and interoperability approaches and tools.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience.
  • Must be able to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff personnel.
    Detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Excellent analytical, problem resolution, organization and time management skills.
    Asserts ideas, encourages teamwork and acts as a role model when leading and directing others.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Demonstrates diplomatic negotiating skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Requires strong judgment and excellent project management skills, understands the purpose and employs the use of a work breakdown structure, critical paths and Gantt charts, as well as other tracking reports.
  • Capable of embracing unexpected change in direction or priority.

30% travel is required
