Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect for CareConnect will create, design and implement Netsmart’s Interoperability program to ensure alignment from an engineering perspective with the 3rd party and internal engineering and delivery teams.  The Enterprise Architect will partner with the Senior Solution Strategist to ensure the integration and implementation meets the certification program standards.   

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

  • Lead creating, designing and implementation of Netsmart’s 3rd Interoperability program.
  • Partner with the Senior Solution Strategist to ensure the integration and implementation meets the proper standards.
  • Develops and implements strategic performance metrics for CareConnect team.
  • Work side-by-side with business and technical teams on a daily basis – leading, planning and providing technical leadership as it relates to projects, processes and critical interoperability initiatives.
  • Build and maintain good working relationship with key vendors.
  • Assist in budgetary planning.

Experience:

  • Must have (minimum of 5 yrs) experience architecting and designing enterprise systems.

  • Experience in Behavioral Health or Home Health and Long-Term Care sector.

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records, HL7 Integration Engines and other data interchange systems and methodologies. Strong understanding of HL7, XML, JSON, OAuth and APIs.

  • Ability to evolve with a rapidly changing business and environment

  • Must have strong development experience and be a “hands-on” developer as well as a thought leader

  • Should have strong communication skills to disseminate Best Practices and Thought Leadership around Application Usability and Design practices

  • Excellent communication skills and experience working externally with technical and non-technical customers and/or partners.

  • Excellent operational and delivery skills

  • Self-motivated and a tenacious problem solver when tackling tough technical issues.

  • Experience with FHIR a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

  • Technical Degree in Computer Science, IS, or IT is preferred.
