Job Description

The CarePointe Strategist must possess a unique blend of subject matter expertise and business savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. As a key member of the CareFabric solutions team, this person must be able to communicate effectively with all areas of the company to drive business results. Working closely with the General Manager, the strategist will be responsible for solution strategy, roadmap planning and navigating the products through the solution development life cycle, conducting market analysis, and ensuring execution to drive new solutions to market. The strategist will partner with a technical product manager to ensure current and future solutions are engineered using lean methodology and can be quickly iterated upon. The ability to develop and manage strategic partner relationships with both third parties and strategic customers is a must. Technical expertise and business acumen is needed to outline and document the patient portal application requirements, conduct business process and requirements analyses, solution assessments, and cost/benefit analyses to align information technology and mobile solutions with the Patient Connectivity strategy

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand business, market, and customer needs (in partnership with the Solution GM for your solutions).
  • Responsible for shaping offerings (current and future) to consumer based on market trends.
  • Provide innovative leadership driving efficiencies in solution development as new technologies emerge.
  • Assist in creating financial models and analysis designed to support key decisions product enhancements.
  • Drive marketing with emphasis on competitive intelligence, market trend analysis and market research.
  • Develop and cultivate and manage strategic development partners as they relate to realizing Netsmart’s Consumer Engagement Strategy.
  • Work tightly with sales and marketing to develop marketing plans, demos, collateral and training materials.
  • Formal leadership and shepherding of solutions through the solution develop lifecycle including concept review, product roadmap, stage gates, 4D process.
  • Works with engineering and operations groups to ensure a scalable solution rollout and support framework.
  • Assist in formulating and defining requirements, design, testing, implementation, training, and support through research and fact-finding, combined with a basic understanding of business systems and business unit requirements.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen market relationships.
  • Ability to lead design sessions and drive solution design decisions utilizing their solid grasp on the business problem and the right solution to solve it.
  • Assess innovation opportunities and identify barriers to bringing innovation to market.
  • Drive strategic alignment on product roll-out and goals with patient and provider teams.

    Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Specialized skills and knowledge

  • Leadership experience.
  • Effective motivating, teaching, and mentoring fellow associates.
  • Worked with service organizations focused on enterprise software deployments.
  • Experience with Behavioral Health or Post-Acute industry groups.

Experience

  • 5 or more years in Behavioral Health or Home Health and Long-Term Care sector.
  • 3 or more years of experience working with electronic health record software (ideally Netsmart’s solutions).
  • Demonstrable success in developing strong partnerships.
  • Experience working within and leading cross-functional teams.
