Job Description

The Business Operations Analyst will help support internal business intelligence, metrics, reporting, and modeling of data. Reporting to the Business Operations Program Manager, they will work directly with leadership and associates to creatively answer business reporting and analysis needs in support of the operations and growth of Netsmart. The role requires collaboration with senior leadership (Client Org, GM’s, Internal IT, Marketing, Support, Product, Engineering, etc.) on a variety of strategic initiatives to measure success/failure and processes in addition to management of everyday activities. They will help manage operational processes and procedures, strategize to improve efficiency and productivity, along with adopting best practices. Successful applicants for this role are typically people who can oversee small details and big-picture issues. 

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on a multitude of strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive a variety of strategic and operational projects.
  • Manage operational processes and procedures with an emphasis on flawless execution and business optimization.
  • Manage and improve reporting charts/dashboards with internal teams to evolve key performance metrics and provide actionable, new insights.
  • Produce quarterly Operations Book.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in strategy/operations, IT, consulting, finance, start-ups, or other related fields.
  • Experience performing analysis on and uncovering insights from data; ability to oversee projects of this nature but simultaneous willingness to roll up his/her sleeves and do the work him/herself.
  • Ability to own a project independently start-to-finish AND communicate up, down, and across thoroughly throughout scope of project.
  • Ability to work with Sales personnel, peers and members of senior management, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times and ability to work extended hours at period end to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented, self-motivated professional that is driven to succeed.
  • Strong organization, time management and creative problem solving skills.

 Experience Preferred:

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in an Operational Role and/or Business Improvement Role 
  • Data extraction and configuration experience
  • CRM

Education Required:

  • BS/BA in Business, Finance, Economics, IT or related field
